How I Turn 1 Blog Post into 10 Content Pieces

Copy the content repurposing system I use across platforms.

Want top-quality SEO content written to attract more customers? Schedule a call with me to discuss how my team and I at TrioSEO can help make it a reality.

Yo, Connor here with another cheat sheet!

Do you write one blog post and move on?

Not me. I write one and get 10 content pieces out of it.

Same core research, multiplied reach.

Need help building a content system like this for your business?

Book a free SEO strategy session with me. We'll look at what you're creating, where your content could be working harder, and what to do about it.

Here’s how I do it across all my content channels:

Start with the blog post.

Everything flows from a well-researched, SEO-optimized article. That’s your source, so make sure it’s solid with a clear structure, real insights, and practical takeaways.

Once the post is live, I break it down into 10 content pieces:

  1. LinkedIn text post: Pull the strongest insight or framework. Turn it into a numbered list with a hook in the first line.

  2. LinkedIn carousel: Take a step-by-step structure from the post and turn each step into a slide. Carousels get strong engagement and keep people on the platform longer.

  3. Newsletter: Strip one key idea and reframe it for your email list. Add a personal angle or quick story.

  4. X (Twitter) thread: Break the post into 6–8 punchy tweets. Start with the hook, walk through the key points, close with a CTA to the full article. Threads drive real traffic.

  5. Short-form social snippets: Pull 3–5 standalone sentences or stats. Post them individually across the week as quick LinkedIn or X one-liners.

  6. Short-form video clip: Record a 60–90 second breakdown of the main point on your phone. Post it to LinkedIn or YouTube Shorts. Talking-head, no editing needed.

  7. YouTube or Loom Explainer: Go deeper with a 5–10 minute walkthrough of the full concept. Embed it back into the blog post for added dwell time and SEO signals.

  8. Guest post angle: Take the core argument and pitch it to a relevant publication. New audience, same research, different framing. Great for backlinks too.

  9. Quora or Reddit answer: Find questions related to your blog topic on Quora or Reddit. Answer them using insights from the post and link back where it's relevant and allowed.

  10. Podcast talking point: Use the blog post as your outline for a podcast episode or as a pitch angle for a guest appearance. The research is already done, just talk through it.

That's 1 blog post → 10 content pieces → distributed across every major channel.

You don't need more content. Simply multiply the content you already have.

One great post, distributed well, is better than ten average posts scattered randomly. Build the system once, then let it compound.
